PIMS Sports department organized Staff sports meet for Teaching and Non Teaching staff of PMT/PIMS during 17th to 18th December 2018.
Hon’ble Dr. Rajendra E. Vikhe Patil Pro Chancellor PIMS DU had inaugurated the sports meet.
Dr. Y. M. Jayraj, Vice Chancellor and Dean / Principal of all constituent institutes were present for the the function.
Total 524 participants took part in the sports meet. .

The “2nd International Congress on Regeneration, Growth Factors & Stem Cells in Dentistry” ”., held on October 24-27, 2018 was jointly organised by Pravara Institute of Medical Sciences(Deemed to be University) Loni, India in collaboration with World academy Of growth Factors and Stem Cells in Dentistry and the University of Bari “Aldo Moro.
The conference saw over 571 delegates from 10 countries. Delegates , students , researchers and undergraduate students from various parts of the country attended the conference and gave it a true PAN INDIA colour.
The conference has declared open by the Hon. Pro chancellor Dr. Rajendra Vikhe Patil.
The inaugural ceremony was presided by Prof. Dr. S.K.Kathariya, Executive Member,Dental Councilof India.

Pravara Institute of Medical Sciences Deemed University has organized Padmabhushan Dr. Balasaheb Vikhe Patil All India Shootingball Tournament on March 7-8, 2018. On the occasion of birthday of Chief Execuitve Officer & Pro chancellor of PIMS Dr. Rajendra vikhe Patil .
The tournament was inaugurated on March 7, 2018 with the auspicious hands of Honorable Ranjitsinh Mohite Patil, President, All India body building Federation. March 7, 2018 | Inauguration of CBNAAT and Sensitization Programme on Recent Advances in RNTCP |
Under the National Programme of RNTCP, Dr. Vitthalrao Vikhe Patil Pravara Rural Hospital has been granted funds for establishment of CBNAAT (Cartridge Based Nucleic Acid Amplification Test)facilities for rapid diagnosis of Tuberculosis. Currently such facilities is available only at Civil Hospital, Ahmednagar.
CBNAAT facility for Tuberculosis has been established in the Department of Microbiology. The advanced test modalities provides rapid diagnosis of tuberculosis patients in less than 2 hours. This facility, which is being provided free of cost, is yet another important milestone in the efforts of our management to provide State of Art health care facilities to our rural and tribal patients of this region.
CBNAAT Tuberculosis Laboratory is inaugurated at the auspicious hands of Dr Rajendra E Vikhe Patil, Hon'ble Pro Chancellor & Chief Executive, PMT & PIMS DU on 7th March, 2018 at Department of Microbiology.
The inauguration ceremony held in presence of Dr Y M Jayaraj, Offg Vice Chancellor, PIMSDU, Dr R C Goyal, Dean, RMC, Dr Sandeep Sangale, DHO Ahmednagar, Dr Sandeep Nagargoje, DTO Ahmednagar and Dr S Bharaswadkar, WHO Consultant.
