Medical Faculty

- with basic University / equivalent qualification included in any one of the schedules to the IMC Act 1956. They must also be registered in a State Medical Register or Indian Medical Register.
- In the department of Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Pharmacology and Microbiology, non-medical teachers with approved/recognised medical M. Sc. qualification shall be sufficient qualification for appointment as Lecturer and for Reader / Associate Professor & for Professor, M. Sc. (Medical) with Ph. D. shall be sufficient qualification.

| Note : The experience gained in the dental departments of medical colleges will not be considered as teaching experience in any speciality and hence the faculty members with such experience are not entitled to any senior faculty position in a dental institution. As regards Armed Forces only, (where seats in MDS Courses exists) the period of experience gained at the dental department of AFMC will be considered as teaching experience. | ||
