Pravara Institute of Medical Sciences – Deemed to be University, signed Memorandum of Agreement with the oldest college of United States of America - The College of New Jersey (TCNJ) is a public University in Ewing, New Jersey. TCNJ was established in 1855 as the New Jersey State Normal School. The institution was the first normal school in the state of New Jersey and the fifth in the United States. More than 50 liberal arts and professional programs are offered through the College's seven schools: Arts and Communication; Business; Culture and Society; Education; Engineering; Nursing, Health & Exercise Science; and Science. Approximately 6,580 full-time students are currently enrolled at the TCNJ.

The MoA between the two universities shall facilitate academic and research co-operation In the field of Nursing, Public Health and Physiotherapy (Physical Therapy).

The co-operation looks forward to strengthen the health care delivery system, develop standard protocol and nursing care for pediatric patients, joint academic & research initiative in public health and physiotherapy.

The PIMS University has appointed Prof Carole Kenner, Dean of Allied Health Sciences, TCNJ as Visiting Professor at PIMS DU. She carries immense experience in neonatal nursing care.

Both the universities have applied for grants to facilitate joint collaborative research projects and undertake staff student exchange. Joint Seminars and Workshops with mutual participation of both the universities are being planned.
